Why we use your information

We use information to fulfil purchases, provide downloads, send order emails and deliver related support. Our lawful basis is performing our contract with you, or taking steps you request before entering a contract.

We retain necessary financial records to meet accounting and tax obligations. Our lawful basis is legal obligation.

We use proportionate technical and order information to secure the shop, prevent fraud, investigate problems and handle disputes. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure business.

We do not automatically subscribe purchasers to marketing emails. Any future optional marketing subscription will explain how consent is collected and withdrawn.

Service providers

We use:

  • Hostinger for website hosting and order-email services.

  • Stripe for payment processing and associated fraud prevention.

  • WooCommerce software within our WordPress installation to manage products, orders and downloads.

Relevant information may also be shared with professional advisers or authorities where necessary for accounting, legal obligations or resolving disputes.

Stripe also processes some information for its own purposes, as described in its privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal information.

International processing

Our service providers may process information outside the UK. Where transfers require safeguards, these must be covered by applicable UK adequacy arrangements or appropriate contractual safeguards.

Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your data.

How long we keep information

We keep order and financial records for the period required by applicable accounting and tax rules, and longer where necessary for an unresolved dispute or legal requirement.

We retain download-access records while needed to provide your purchased access, investigate misuse or handle related claims.

Support messages are retained while needed to resolve your enquiry and manage related follow-up or disputes. Technical logs are retained according to their security purpose and the relevant service settings.

We review information and delete or anonymise it when it is no longer needed. Backups may retain deleted information until they expire through the backup cycle.

Cookies

The shop uses cookies and similar technologies needed for functions such as cart management, checkout, account sessions and payment security.

We have not enabled Google Analytics or advertising pixels on the shop.

If we introduce technologies requiring consent, we will provide the necessary information and controls before using them. You can also manage cookies through your browser, although blocking necessary cookies may prevent checkout from working.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances and our lawful basis, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your information, receive certain information in a portable format, or object to processing.

Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.

These rights are subject to legal conditions. For example, we may need to retain financial records despite a deletion request.

Contact info@nexacorehouse.com to make a request. We may need to verify your identity.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Required information

We need certain contact, billing and payment information to process an order and deliver your purchase. Without it, we may be unable to fulfil the order.

Please avoid sending confidential customer data when requesting workbook support. Use fictional or anonymised examples where possible.

Updates

We may update this policy when our services or data practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
